Uma Shankar Kulasekaran

Uma Shankar has been with NICE Actimize for 13 years, holding leadership roles across both Product and Professional Services. He leads the Global Fraud product organization bringing Fraud prevention products to Financial institution.  Before that  he led Actimize Watch — our managed analytics service — overseeing the delivery of AI/ML capabilities to financial institutions worldwide. With more than 18 years of experience, he brings proven leadership, deep client understanding and firsthand insight into how Actimize technology solves evolving challenges. Uma Shankar holds a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech and has built his career across roles including Fraud Analytics SME, Manager–Business Analyst and Software Engineer, contributing to model development, data analysis and client collaboration. Before joining NICE Actimize, he specialized in AML and fraud integration for USAA Bank at Tata Consultancy Services, forming a strong foundation in technical consulting and systems modernization. His career reflects a blend of analytical expertise, technical depth and strategic leadership within the financial crime analytics domain.
